WWDC Roundup
Well, we got our First Look at Tiger today.
Some folks are happy, Some are not.
Brent has a new challenge in the Safari/RSS reader. Brent is optimistic for good reason.
Arlo and Perry have a new challenge in Dashboard. Arlo and Perry are pessimistic for good reason.
But the coolest thing of the day that no one at all is talking about? OS X Tiger Server.
An integrated Jabber based iChat server? Sweet.
An integrated Weblogging server? Sweet.
Mobile Home Directories with syncing public folders? Awesome.
SpamAssassin built right in? Even better.
ACLs? Color me amazed.
All I want to know is...
When can I get hands on it?

Comments:
Yep, server does have some intriguing features -- a bit more intriguing to me than the client this time around. Mobile Home Directories alone might be enough to spend the extra $$$.
Widgets are interesting, but I've never found myself using them (with Konfab) too often. Kinda heavy on the ol' CPU.
I haven't yet found what I'm looking for in an RSS reader, so maybe Safari will do the trick finally.
