With tonight's Boston victory over New York, I would just like to point out that since they exchanged Take Me Out To The Ballgame for God Bless America, the NY Yankees have not once won the World Series.
I'm calling it the Curse of the Irish Tenor.
Bring Back Take Me Out to the Ball Game!

Doesn't that put you in an awkward position, though? If they bring it back, the Yankees might start winning World Series again. The question is... is it worth the risk? ;)

I don't think they did that, Chris. I remember seeing all the hoodoo about the GBA, no playing of the Take Me Out. Unacceptable.
