Thank You

Today is Thanksgiving, remembering a dinner that happened 300 some odd years ago in Massachusetts, giving thanks for a plentiful harvest and some relief. We gather today, as families and friends, in homes and churches, halls and hotels, many places where we share in a meal, conversation and each other's company. I'm thankful for much this year...

I am thankful for a lot of people this year. I am thankful for the DC Metbloggers, The Wasyliks, Mike K, Crowe, Joseph, Ben Stanfield, Jamie and Jeanine, Steve-o, Younce, Andrew, KB, Dave, Julia, Dave Smith, Jason and Beth, JR, Mike and Jessi, Lauren and Erich, Robert, Gene, and all the Choralis/Echos gang,

I am thankful for Meg and Erik, Mom and Dad. I'm thankful for a wonderful family, and all the fun that we have together. I am also thankful for Parcheesi.

I am thankful for my job and my coworkers, they provide me with levity, challenge and structure. I am thankful for the travel it allows, even if sometimes it feels inconvenient. I am thankful for coworkers that are supportive and wonderful.

I am thankful for the people that make the tools that I use. Brent, Chris, Adam, Nat, the Firefox gang, the Gmail gang, the Hydra folks, Open Text, Apple. You guys make my lives easier. For that, you deserve no small thanks. So here is...

BIG THANKS

I am thankful for a wonderful girlfriend in Tiffany, who keeps me from losing my marbles, who keeps my calendar straight when I am absent-minded, who brings me soup when I am sick, who travels with me when she can, whom I love dearly. Thank you honey, it is you that I am most thankful for this year.
