Victory Snatched From The Drooling Jaws Of Defeat
I am not ordinarily a superstitious person. I don't really buy into horoscopes or biorhythms, though I think Mercury in Retrograde is a perfectly good excuse. I don't believe in luck, or fate, or much of any of that stuff. If God truly does not play dice with the universe, though, coincidence is clearly no accident.
On Tuesday, after all of Monday's ranting about being thwarted by the wedding industry, we had nearly given up on getting married. I went to the bank and got money out for the elopement, downloaded and printed a copy of the Arlington Marriage License form, and started looking at times to go to the courthouse.
Around 4pm on Tuesday, Tiff and I started playing the What If game. We started looking at other options for the whole thing, and it hit us. What If we got married on Sunday instead? We called the Church, they said great, the music director said great, and called our venue of choice back and they said great. In 24 hours, we had a wedding again.
Wonder what's wrong with 10 June?
Comments:
Glad it all worked out - even if I still think eloping to somewhere fun is the best option ;)
BTW - I was curious about 6/10 too - but I don't see anything overly foreboding on this list.

Right on!
"Flexibility is the key to air power..."
ugh, I can't believe I just said/wrote that. Do you know how often I hear that at work - and I hate it!
That said, nicely done.
