Stasis

Stasis

It's not that nothing interesting is happening in my life. Or that things are too busy to write about them. It's that I've reached some sort of peculiar equilibrium that requires no chronicle of events. Time and Life still flow ever onward, but I have achieved some sort of balance in which most of my creative energy is diverted elsewhere. I write about life around here sparingly, but all of that goes over to Metroblogging DC. I've stopped writing about technology for the time being because it's clear the more I work on my masters, the less I really understand matters technological, and I get really nervous when I am out of my elements. I still work on computers and do a damn fine job, but discussing ramifications of technology is a place when I won't be writing for a bit.

Technology still resonates with me, surely. I am still an ardent technologist, I just realized that I am shifting my frame of reference massively, and that such a shift isn't wise to write through, but rather after.

In the meanwhile, I still write, I still take photos, I still work for clients, I still tweet, and I still go out every Monday for Pubquiz. Come buy me a beer out here in the world. I'll get the next round.
